The Secret World of Arrietty
Even though Miyazaki only contributed to the screenplay for this one, it’s hard not to get excited when a new Studio Ghibli movie gets released in the United States. The only problem is that I can’t stand watching them dubbed in English the first time through, so my friend Eric helped me find a Japanese version with English subtitles. I watched it last night (it’s a wonderful little bittersweet story) and these were some of my favorite visual stills from it. So pretty! It was extra cute because they translated it as “human beans” the whole time.
PS: The 4th frame is basically the Givenchy Men’s Collection from last year!
